Supporting the Coronavirus Relief

Charity is close to the heart of everything we do here at TruRating, and in the light of the disruption and chaos in the wake of the Coronavirus, we couldn’t just sit back and watch.

As the pandemic continues to grow and more and more businesses go into lockdown, we have decided to extend our charity program to help support those working in retail, service, hospitality and gig-economy jobs who are no longer able to support themselves in the usual way.

Our existing program supports three incredible kids charitiesFamilies First, KidsCan and Smile Train – and runs on the basis that for every 10,000 ratings questions asked, we donate a £1 or $1 to a fund, split between each of our charities on a quarterly basis.

We have doubled-down on our charity commitment, reducing the threshold for donation to one in every 3,000 questions and will be using these additional funds to support food banks near each of our headquarter locations.

To learn a little more about the organisations we have chosen to donate to, read the below, and if you’re in a position to be able to, please consider donating to these much needed causes – every penny really does help!

London: The Trussel Trust – The Trussell Trust is working to stop UK hunger and poverty. Our network of foodbanks provides emergency food and support to people in crisis – Donate

Atlanta: Feeding AmericaA nationwide network of more than 200 food banks that feed more than 46 million people through food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and other community-based agenciesDonate

Sydney: FoodbankFoodbank is the only food relief organisation in Australia to play a role in times of emergency and natural disasters such as fires, floods and cyclones – Donate

We hope this finds you safe wherever you are,

Team Tru
